A small congregation of Blue Tiger Butterflies, Magnetic Island North Queensland Australia- Standard 3:2 ratio, Open Edition prints

from $90.00

Gathering together in huge numbers from mid May and on through June these beautiful butterflies are not only stunning as individuals, they provide for a vivid collection of translucent blue colour in the midst of a dim forest. Settling on the open branches of low understory they sit often motionless until one of the groups “breaks” and then like a domino effect they all take to the wing in-turn like a ripple in time.

These images are all wide ratio panorama with a 3:2 long edge to short edge ratio. They are printed on 280gms quality photo paper with rich permanent inks and crisp resolution across the frame.
