Just prior to dawn, the planet Venus is chasing the final viewing of the Milky Way core across the great southern skies over Coochiemudlo Island, off Brisbane in Morton Bay, Queensland Australia. This is a single still frame from a profoundly popular time-lapse video. I captured this night over 4 hours from 2:00am through 6:00am and dawn via time-lapse. The single image, if anything provides for more detail to be resolved, enhancing the colour depth and magical elements of the dried out eucalypts on the beach, and stillness of the waters of the bay. Dream on through to dawn of a new day is clearly the message here.
