The Trading Post, Banff Alberta Canada - Open Edition Standard 3:2 ratio Print
The Rocky Mountains of western Canada were opened up to the Europeans by traders and trappers essentially from the mid 1700s onward. They required a means to sell the furs and pelts they had shot and trapped and these premises evolved to be the start of towns across the Rockies. In Banff the identification of hot springs saw the Victorian travellers arrive in droves and the trading posts flourished. The back drop of the mountains and the snow covered larch and spruce certainly helped too - there are few places on earth that are as jaw droopingly beautiful as Alberta’s Rockies.
This is an open-edition print in either a lustre (semi-gloss) or matt finish.
All sizes are listed in inches with a 3:2 ratio
