Mount Roland in the Kentish municipality of Northern Tasmania, Australia - Wide 3:1 ratio Panorama, Open Edition prints
Standing 1233m tall, this craggy feature looms out of the rolling hills that surround it like a fortress protecting all within it’s domain. The region that surrounds it is peppered with beautiful hikes and walks which can lead to a plateau at its summit. Whilst it provides some exquisite vistas from the summit, I still believe it is at its most majestic as you approach from the coast. Caught here in early afternoon sun of a clear spiring day, the features of its walls are etched into the soul of this image and contrast with the lush gentle rolling paddocks of grazing land in the foreground.
These images are all wide ratio panorama with a 3:1 long edge to short edge ratio. They are printed on 280gms quality photo paper with rich permanent inks and crisp resolution across the frame.
