Bow Valley and Banff from Sulphur Mountain, Alberta Canada - Wide 3:1 ratio Panorama, Open Edition prints
The clearest of days and crisp Autumn sunshine provided for a vista of Mountain bliss from the top of Sulphur Mountain. The town of Banff at the side of Bow River in the foreground to the left, and the Bow Valley extending on into the distance. These massive structures of granite provide for a formidable barrier to moist Pacific air coming across from British Columbia, and in winter this leads to huge dumps of snow on these Mountains. The rapidity with which the weather changes up here re-enforced how blessed we were to have this moment of clarity. The image is stitched from 5 shots on an ultra high resolution camera and thus can retain its detail no matter how large you need it.
These images are all wide ratio panorama with a 3:1 long edge to short edge ratio. They are printed on 280gms quality photo paper with rich permanent inks and crisp resolution across the frame.
