Tropical Sunset Milky Way arc over Geoffrey Bay on Magnetic Island, Queensland Australia - Wide 3:1 ratio Panorama, Open Edition prints
The soft pink and violet hues of a tropical sunset “blue hour” are uniquely framing the back-drop for this Milky Way arc of our galaxy. The lights of Arcadia nestled in the left hand corner of the bay. This was a very tricky image to capture with the balance of starlight against the very last glow of the sun just over the horizon. With the galaxy high in the sky, it takes on a more coronet like appearance as if that miniature crown of jewels was placed on the Coral Sea by some mythical bride of Neptune.
These images are all wide ratio panorama with a 3:1 long edge to short edge ratio. They are printed on 280gms quality photo paper with rich permanent inks and crisp resolution across the frame.
