Amsterdam a city of canals - Wide 3:1 ratio Panorama, Open Edition prints

from $90.00

Amsterdam has a series of concentric canals that ring the city. The fabulous multi-storey architecture of the buildings that sit right up against the walls of the canals, were built by wealthy merchants that traded from Holland as part of the Dutch East India company, amongst others. The mid-winter sun provides the only warmth as it sits low in the sky, perhaps amplified by the glowing pink blush it delivers to the clouds.

These images are all wide ratio panorama with a 3:1 long edge to short edge ratio. They are printed on 280gms quality photo paper with rich permanent inks and crisp resolution across the frame.
