Maui is one of the older Hawaiian Islands and is the place of the original capital Lahaina. It has this iconic waterfront pub and restaurant called the Pioneer Inn which in this image is bathed in a glow of sunlight at sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Tragically much of this historic town was destroyed by bushfires in 2023 which devastated a large swathe of Maui yet thankfully this beautifully crafted building survived.
