The very last few rays of a warming sun as it sets across the open mouth of the Forth River at Leith looking toward Turners Beach. It almost appears to be racing to bed, and signalling to all those that have had a great time exploring the rich oceanside treasures, that the day is ending and it’s time to slow down and enjoy the spectacle. Colours of the rocks and pebbles, sticks and logs that decorate the foreshore are enhanced by highlights of warm gold, which complement the blues between the speckles of cloud.
