Early morning glow over the Tessellated Pavement, near Eaglehawk Neck Tasmanaia - Ultra-wide 5:1 ratio Panorama - Open Edition

from $200.00

The Tessellated Pavement is an incredible geological feature of the coastline near Eaglehawk Neck at the start of the Tasmanian Peninsula National Park. This early morning light was chosen to provide a stark relief of shadow to each tessellation and yet still deliver the reflected glory of a soft warm cloud “blanket”. Trimmed in the punchy green of sea algae and rimmed in native flora all around the bay.

These images are ultra-wide panograma, meaning they have a size ratio of 5:1 or for every 10inches tall they are then the width is 50 inches. This is probably the best way to take in the majesty of this scene. The original image is constructed from several high resolution photographs to obtain and retain as much detail and vibrance as possible from the moment. Compositions are sourced in advance of shooting too, unlike when this type of panorama form factor is produced by cropping a single more square frame shot.
