The Osprey in many parts of the world is under threat or recovering slowly. Here on Magnetic Island however this pair has successfully roosted and brought anywhere between 1 and 3 new Osprey into the world for the last ten years. The only year they had just one offspring was after a particularly extended dry season as part of a three year drought. An elegant bird of prey they have fishing skills that many would envy.
