Immediately below the main falls is a smaller set of waterfalls or rapids which come coursing very close to the banks of the creek. In the depths of the rainy Autumn or Winter I can see how this would become an almost continuous ribbon of water. For this glorious summer day though I was glad to have it punctuated by the granite boulders separating upper and lower sections into two distinct characters.
