This Otter had a fantastic morning foraging with great success amongst the freshwater streams of coastal Lancashire for small fish and crustaceans, paddling from rock to rock in the shallows. At this point they have stopped to clean the claws, extracting the last bits of flavour from the fur between toes before bouncing along the edge of the rivulet. Then back home to warm up and dry off through the middle of the day, before returning for late snack in the evening. It was only “still” for these brief few moments, constantly searching and on the move for the rest of the time in this area.
