It’s a very warm sunny day you’re cruising along at a gentle pace on the Adelaide River in Australia’s “Top End”, the Northern Territory, occasional screech of Lorikeets. There is a intermittent and odd splash of reasonable sized fish leaping out of the water… Then, next to your craft, emerging rocket like from the depths is 4m of teeth, muscles and scales. The Croc has successfully made a meal of life since the dinosaurs were here! I’d love to say that my reactions are so ice cool and fast that this is the first time this beast launched. No, this is his second attempt but only marginally less terrifying - over in a blink of an eye my goto fast shutter speed proved itself, and also eliminated any of my shaking! Ha Ha! Endurance on this planet is typified in this image, again a profoundly motivating shot.
