A very still morning light, and fabulous reflections of autumnal leaves of gold across the far side of Pyramid Lake in Jasper National Park. The Albertan Rocky Mountains have incredible views no matter the weather, but when you make the effort to get out early and wait, with some patience for light and subject to get acquainted… the results can be sublime. The softness of golden Larch, the clarity of the blue skies far and wide are topped off by the rugged features of the aptly named Pyramid Mountain at the back. All of this duplicated in the calm waters of the lake.
