Definitely not a wild animal, nor quite domesticated cattle. However, in their original habitat of north Scotland in the highlands, I would argue there are fewer places on earth where the environmental conditions for any domestic creature are more “wild” and that includes us! These leviathans are well suited to it though with that fabulous swathe of Red hair. It certainly has a powerful glow that I have tried to capture here with some late and often erratic sunlight. Stoic and beautiful, he is all that.
