Far north Queensland has dense tropical rain forest that is both primal and unbelievably rich in diversity of plant life. Seasonal changes are limited to just two - wet or dry. Under the canopy however even the “Dry” is still saturated and the air is thick with moisture. There is little to limit the growth of the trees and shrubs except competition from each other.
